Hédène fir honey is harvested in the Gérardmer Forest, in East Vosges, at the heart of one of the most beautiful pinewoods of France. The very noble taste wavers between woody, ripe fruits and maple syrup overtones. It is a rare honey, enhanced by a dark color and a liquid texture, lightly syrupy. In addition to that, it is a very aromatic honey with light resin scents. Its flavor is sweet with a long-lasting taste. Fir honey comes from an irregular nectar production, which might happen all over summer. Its harvest is unpredictable as nectar flow can be abundant or nearly nonexistent.
Hédène is willing to offer a wide range of monofloral regional honeys with uncommon tastes, colors and textures. Noble and natural, Hédène French honeys bring to light the wonderfully rich floral heritage of France through a unique traditional know-how. Hédène offers exceptional French honeys with an incomparable refinement as apiaries are established in the most beautiful wildflowers parcels of France and honeys are cold extracted.
