Peru & Soba Cha Chocolate Bar by Encuentro. The Unami Tea House has sourced a high quality Soba Cha, or Japanese roasted buckwheat, for us. It is very popular in Japan where it is consumed as an infusion.It was the founder of this renowned tea house, Jean-Benoît, who gave us the idea for this gourmet tablet. It is a subtle marriage between the fruity sweetness of our 70% Peru chocolate and the crunchiness with generous grilled notes of Soba Cha.
Encuentro (meeting in English): This is the story of Candice & Antoine, one of the few bean-to-bar artisan in France. They produce chocolate bars of remarkable quality with beans selected for their rare soils. Their selection process is very strict as they commit to organic and sustainable farming. They aspire to make us discover the abundance of aromas in chocolate. We can only appreciate their strong commitment to authenticity by using exclusively two organic ingredients: cocoa beans and cane sugar.
